A G20 forum was organized to discuss tech-driven climate smart agriculture and food security amongst a number of global organizations, including IFPRI, ERIA, OECD, World Bank, ADB, BMGF India, CropInTech, etc. The global population is estimated to reach 10 billion by 2050, and many initiatives have been proposed to address food insecurity. The NEXUS Gains Initiative, Women in Science, and the Foresight Initiative are among the approaches being pursued. Capacity building programs are being conducted for regional agricultural trade analysis, and cash transfers have been proposed to promote women's agency.
