Today, Rwanda Women graduated 402 cross border traders from 16 cooperatives in Rusizi District who have been trained and taken part in formal trade since 2019 after offering them the 3rd phase of startup of 38 million. The fourth edition of ConnectWomenInBusiness Initiative has been launched to support 76 women’s saving groups with financial and business acumen training. Moreover, their president NyirajyambereB was honored as the guest of honor. The support in empowering women was also emphasized in the remarks by NyirajyambereB across different sectors for a sustainable family. RwandaWomen and other organisations have partnered in the initiatives to provide financial and non-financial support to women through training workshops to set and achieve their goals. These initiatives further include elections and committee-formed initiatives to ensure successful implementation and support in various fields.
