United Kingdom MP Gavin Williamson had a briefing to update the House of Commons on the Somaliland (SL) status quo, which includes Essa Kayd's unsuccessful attempt to enter the African Union summit as an Eswatini tribal chieftain, the need for the national forces of SL to protect citizens and buildings from invading armed militias, Somaliland's need for assistance, and the need for a license for fast food outlets that may generate income for the government.
