الملخص
Issa Amro, a Palestinian human rights defender born and raised in Hebron, has been assaulted numerous times by Israeli forces and settlers, with none of his assailants ever facing justice. During a recent tour with Lawrence Wright, an American journalist, an Israeli soldier assaulted him, and the video of it quickly went viral. Amro is now fearful of future assaults as the Israeli response to the video did not condemn the soldier’s behaviour. He has also been subject to an ongoing intimidation campaign by the IDF and settlers for speaking out. Despite this, Amro has called for strength and solidarity against fascism, occupation and apartheid.
