The JournoResource organization has been researching and publishing important guidelines for journalists and newsroom staff to protect vulnerable journalists from online harassment, such as those of color or women. Tips and guidelines have been provided to help journalists report on the conclusiveness of research findings and communicate different degrees of certainty in scientific results. JournoResource has also introduced a Fact-checking tools database, suggested collaborative investigations with researchers to effective hold the powerful accountable, and suggested newsrooms to provide a Duty of Care in protecting online journalists.
