الملخص
The Maldives government has recently been involved in different activities related to religion; some examples are providing a QR code in Baibil for scanning, sending at least one detainee to Mafushi on a drug case who began praying and leading his cell as Imam, having 1500 politicians pledge muslim faith, and providing fatwas or opinions. The government is also encouraging religious practises such as reciting the Quran and offering faqeerunge.
