Resume
President Kagame of Rwanda, President João Lourenço of Angola, and President Neva of Burundi met in Addis Ababa to discuss the security situation in Eastern DRC. President Neva has also been appointed a 3rd Vice-President of the African Union and its champion for “Youth, Peace, and Security in Africa.” The President has also been supported in his development efforts by the United Nations Secretary General. He is currently taking part in a summit in Bujumbura and has visited Murwi to encourage local development, as well as receiving a warm welcome from the population of Burundi. His wife has also accompanied him to meetings in Addis Ababa. He has been honored at the African Union Youth Town Hall Meeting.
