There is unrest in Las'anod, Somalia, as a result of an "unholy alliance" of individuals, institutions, and groups such as HIPS Institute, IlhanMN, Abdimadobe, Farah MaalimM, Al-shabaab, NN, Abdiwali Gaas, Waare, Puntland, AnalystSomalia, etc. A discussion took place between HIPS Institute and Sweden's Sida partner about the research surrounding peacebuilding, statebuilding, and economic development in Somalia.
