Syed Muhammed Baqir, belonging to an influential family, was involved in a car accident in Islamabad in which a young boy lost his life. There is belief that Baqir was likely intoxicated and speeding at the time of the incident. The family of the deceased has sought justice, asking that the investigation be conducted fairly and without influence from any powerful parties. They have also asked for the CCTV footage of the accident to be released. The ICT Police are personally investigating the incident, and have noted that the owner of the car, Cheetah, has not yet been publicly identified.
