Resumo
Congress members McClintock and Sherman have proposed a resolution denouncing violations of human rights by Iran and supporting a pathway to a democratic and secular republic. Iranians generally oppose Maryam Rajavi because they view her to have worked with terrorist organizations, and oppose her representing them. There has been significant bipartisan support for the resolution, with over 160 original sponsors, and thanks for the support has been expressed. The people of Iran want freedom and oppose the MEK, an Islamist and Marxist organization, as much as they do the mullahs' regime. Psychological support is needed for victims and health facilities in Tigray also need to be restored.
