In Kicukiro District, Rwanda on February 8th, 2023, USAID/Igire-Wiyubake Activity equipped 40 Teacher Mentors and 17 Head Teachers with knowledge on SRHR in a two-day workshop. On February 11th, 2023, 1500 AGYW were given HIV prevention messages, tested for HIV, and given condoms and sanitary pads. Other activities included the World Social Justice Day at Tubiteho Day Center, name unveiling of the highly anticipated training hotel, Palliative Care training at Masaka District Hospital, Intore dancing performed by 10 people at Gikondo Sector, collaboration between Rwanda National Policy Commision and Africa Newlife, and steps taken in Kagunga and Kanombe Sector to ensure social justice are implemented.
