The wonderful Len Goodman has left us. He was so kind and lovely to me when I was on @bbcstrictly and we met on other programmes including his own filmed at BBC Glasgow. The word legend is overused but Len and his 'SEVEN' became a catchphrase across UK & USA. A true character

Today isn't going to be easy for many of us who have lost our mums. As many of you know I lost my mum two weeks before I was told I had a pituitary tumour, confirmed by an MRI. What can I say to comfort you? Only this, the love we shared is always there. Some things never change.
One person I have loved over the years I worked with him on BBC Breakfast Time and the Royal Variety Show where he was wonderfully Edna. The exceedingly unique Barry Humphries really isn't well and needs our love in whatever way suits you best: for me it's a lit candle and prayer
