twtData vs Apify: exporting an X account's followers
Both export the followers of a public X (Twitter) account to a file. Apify is a platform for running scrapers: you create an account, pick a follower scraper ("actor") from its store, set up the run and download the dataset. It costs less per follower. twtData sells the finished file: you enter the username, see the price, pay once and get the CSV by email, with no account and nothing to set up.

Is Apify cheaper than twtData?
Yes, per follower. If you are comfortable creating an Apify account, picking an actor, setting up the run and downloading the dataset, it costs less, and a small list can cost nothing on the Free plan. twtData costs more because it does that work for you and sells the finished file.
Do I need an account?
For Apify, yes: you sign up, then run an actor from the Apify Store. For twtData, no: you enter the username and your email address, pay, and we email you the file. Neither needs your X login.

Independent developers. The three we checked are community actors, not made by Apify; one had a 4.5 rating from 24 reviews, the other two no reviews yet. Their limits differ: one caps a run at 100,000 followers, another returns 500 per list unless you raise its limit.
What is in the export?
twtData: 25 columns per follower as CSV or XLSX, including username, name, bio, location, follower counts and join date. Apify actors: whatever fields that actor returns, usually handle, name, bio, follower counts and verification, as JSON, CSV or Excel.
